Camp Greenville seeks an Adventure Cabin Leader to guide a cabin group of campers aged 10–17 and support overnight trips. The role focuses on safe, engaging outdoor experiences and fostering connection, confidence, and character among participants.

The position requires leadership, a positive attitude, and the ability to sleep, hike, climb, swim, and cook outdoors. Join a team dedicated to enriching lives through adventurous programming.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old or graduated high school by June 2027.
• CPR/ First aid certified or ability to obtain prior to June 2027.
• Experience working with youth ages 10 to 17.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct guidance and supervision to a cabin group of campers ages 10-17, assist on assigned trips and support Adventure Trip Leaders.
• Live with cabin group at camp and on trips with 24/7 supervision and day-to-day living.
• Maintain the health and well-being of campers mentally, emotionally and physically on trips and on-site.
• Manage adventure trips including backpacking, camping, rock climbing, caving, whitewater rafting, mountain biking and canoeing.
• Engage with participants from diverse backgrounds and model positive decision-making.
• Deliver activities, assist with evening/weekend programming and lead campers in free time activities.
• Serve as a role model, upholding camp values, integrity, creativity and safety.
