Job summary

The University of Virginia’s College at Wise seeks applications for a Program Support Technician with the working title of Advancement Associate in the Office of Advancement and Alumni Engagement.

This role provides vital administrative support to the Advancement Office, assists with donor events and initiatives, and collaborates with UVA Wise colleagues to process complex gift agreements and stewardship tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or its equivalent is required.
• Experience in Higher Education is preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills are a must.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and excellent time management skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Draft gifts agreements and acknowledgement letters.
• Perform administrative duties supporting stewardship efforts and donor initiatives.
• Research key information for Salesforce and manage donor data.
• Manipulate complex databases in Excel to support Giving Thanks Day and events.
• Coordinate donor events and projects with UVA Wise partners.
• Handle weekend and evening duties as needed.
