Job summary

Columbus State Community College is seeking an Assistant Director, Advancement Operations within the Foundation. This role leads integration of communications, stewardship, alumni engagement, and data operations to advance fundraising and engagement goals.

The position reports to the Director and oversees a team of specialists, ensuring campaigns, events, and donor engagement are aligned, efficient, and data-informed. Collaboration with Marketing enhances messaging and institutional impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; related field preferred.
• Four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Advancement Operations team members and sets goals and performance expectations.
• Oversees donor stewardship processes, including acknowledgment, recognition, and reporting.
• Supports development and execution of alumni engagement initiatives.
• Ensures coordination across campaigns, events, and donor engagement with data-informed decision making.
• Collaborates with Marketing & Communications to maintain cohesive messaging and branding.
