Job summary

Clark State College Foundation seeks a strategic Director, Donor & Alumni Relations to strengthen ties with donors, alumni, and community partners. You will lead stewardship programs, oversee communications, and direct annual giving while supporting priority initiatives such as the Performing Arts Center and Athletics.

The role requires relationship-driven leadership, strong writing and project management, and collaboration with college leadership to advance philanthropy across the institution.

Qualifications

• Two to five years of donor relations, alumni engagement, fundraising, or related advancement experience.
• Higher education or nonprofit development experience preferred.
• Demonstrated success in relationship management, event planning, and donor communications.
• Strong writing, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to lead, supervise, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders; proficient with CRM.

Responsibilities

• Develops a comprehensive donor stewardship program recognizing and engaging donors at all giving levels.
• Leads alumni relations strategy, communications, outreach, and engagement opportunities.
• Plans donor cultivation and stewardship events; coordinates logistics and follow-up.
• Supervises Grants Coordinator and aligns grant research, proposals, and reporting with priorities.
• Identifies fundraising opportunities and partners with leadership to cultivate prospects.
