Job summary

Lindenwood University seeks an experienced Manager, Advancement Events to lead strategic planning, promotion, and execution of alumni, donor and constituent events on campus, online, or regional.

This role partners with Advancement leadership to create high-quality experiences that strengthen relationships, support fundraising, and elevate the university’s reputation, handling contracts, invitations, logistics, and post-event analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in marketing, business, communications, hospitality management, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in event planning, alumni relations, nonprofit management, hospitality, or related field.
• Proven success in designing and executing engagement, stewardship, or fundraising events from conception to completion.
• Experience managing budgets and vendor relationships.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as events demand, with occasional regional travel.
• Experience with Blackbaud Raisers Edge NXT or similar CRM/event management software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute events that support advancement priorities including fundraising and engagement.
• Develop a comprehensive calendar of alumni and donor events, including homecoming and regional events.
• Oversee budgets, procurement, invitations, logistics, and post-event reporting.
• Collaborate with campus partners to ensure alignment and seamless execution.
• Ensure compliance with university policies on contracts, purchasing, and safety.
