Job summary

The Lavender Rights Project seeks a Director of Development to lead our fundraising program and provide strategic planning support. This full-time role will supervise the Grants and Communications Manager, diversify funding sources, and coordinate with the Black Trans Task Force to stabilize and grow funding.

Qualifications

• Experience in communications, development, grant management and/or public relations.
• Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends.
• WA state driver's license and ability to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Lead fundraising program and oversee Grants and Communications Manager.
• Provide monthly Board reports and coordinate fundraising with Board committees.
• Diversify funding sources and grow donor base.
• Collaborate with Black Trans Task Force to support funding.
• Develop organizational budget and track development projections.
• Plan and execute fundraising events and annual campaigns.
