Job summary

University of Detroit Mercy is seeking a Data/Reporting Specialist to support the Advancement Systems Manager by maintaining data integrity in the alumni/donor database and enabling effective fundraising and engagement. The role designs user-specific reports, trains staff on Raiser's Edge, provides system support, and prepares month-end, year-end, and quarterly updates.

Qualifications

• College degree or 4–8 years of related experience.
• Experience with Raiser's Edge/NXT is preferred.
• Experience with CRM data, reporting, and data analysis.
• Non-profit or higher education experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Month-End reporting.
• Upload data to Banner (Fupload).
• Generate VSEYearly Report.
• Create US New Yearly Report.
• Prepare NCOA Quarterly Updates.
• Run Deceased Finder processes.
• Process deposits.
• Produce year-end accrual reports.
• Assist with inNXTPortal.
• Train staff on procedures to ensure proper data handling.
• Provide technical support to Advancement staff and address system inquiries.
