Job summary
A healthcare provider invites applications for a Wound Care Specialist Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Ladera Ranch, California. Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in wound care, dermatology, or vascular medicine.
Experience with EMR systems and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Current DEA license (or eligibility to obtain).
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including history, examination, and wound evaluation.
Develop and manage individualized wound care treatment plans.
Perform debridement, dressing changes, and apply advanced wound therapies.
Order and interpret diagnostic studies related to wound healing.
Prescribe medications and order appropriate treatments per scope of practice.
Provide patient and caregiver education on wound prevention.
Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff for coordinated care.
Maintain documentation in the electronic medical record system.
Participate in quality improvement and clinical education initiatives.
