Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant (FT or PT)

Are you a Nurse Practitioner or PA looking to join a fast‑growing team making a difference in how patients' wounds are healed? West Coast Wound & Skin Care is a full‑service mobile wound care company delivering quality services and treatments to patients in the comfort of their own home. We are dedicated to providing high‑quality care and treating the whole patient's health, not just the wound. Our standards for communication with agencies are high, we are responsive to patient needs, and we prioritize continuous training for our medical team.

This position is for candidates living in Madera, CA who are willing to drive within the Palm Springs area to provide mobile advanced wound care services. Must be licensed as an NP or PA in California, have a valid driver’s license, and maintain the state‑required liability auto insurance. The role is not remote; travel to patient homes or SNFs is required.

No prior wound‑care experience is required; we provide extensive training, 24/7 support, and competitive compensation.

Job Types: Full‑time, Part‑time, Contract

Responsibilities

• Select, order, and perform tests and procedures to best treat the patient.
• Perform wound‑care procedures as deemed necessary and appropriate for the plan of care.
• Define and document patient diagnoses.
• Ensure all patients are completely satisfied.
• Educate and manage patients.
• Perform safe debridement of wounds by various methods during the visit.
• Apply topical wound‑care and other wound‑management products.
• Note findings and treatment course in patient chart, including follow‑up notes.

Qualifications

• Current state license as an NP or PA.
• CPR certified.
• Effective communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer‑service skills.
• Valid driver’s license and minimum state‑required liability auto insurance; local travel is required.
