Qualifications

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or ABET-equivalent qualification.
  • Five years of engineering experience (full-time or equivalent).
  • Requires ability to establish working relationships with officials and public; strong written and spoken communication.

Responsibilities

  • Review preliminary engineering reports and feasibility studies for population income and project viability.
  • Review plans/specifications for constructability and regulatory compliance.
  • Perform inspections on projects under construction and attend related meetings.
  • Review contracts between consulting engineers and clients.
  • Attend training and stay current on construction practices and costs.
