Employee will be assigned to the Division of Water and Waste Management, State Revolving Fund, Engineering Section. Under the supervision of a licensed professional engineer, will perform the following engineering services at the full performance level:
Applicant must have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with federal, state and local officials, the general public, supervisors, co-workers and staff; must have the ability to write reports in a clear, concise form, and present factual material and ideas effectively; and have excellent oral and written communication skills.
Training: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Engineering.
Substitution: Bachelor's degree from an Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) accredited college or university with a major in Civil, Electrical, Electrical Design, Mechanical, Chemical or Mining Engineering Technology.
Experience: Four (4) years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid employment in engineering.
Substitution: Master’s degree in engineering may substitute for two (2) years of the required experience.
Special Requirement: A valid driver’s license is required.
