Job summary

Pembrook Resourcing has a vacancy for a Vehicle Technician in Carlisle. The role focuses on diagnosing and repairing vehicles within a busy dealership workshop, delivering high-quality servicing and repairs while maintaining safety and first-time fix targets.

The successful candidate will bring strong technical ability, attention to detail and a professional approach. Ongoing manufacturer training, including EV systems, is provided to keep skills up to date and support career progression.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) automotive qualification.
• Proven ability to identify and resolve vehicle faults.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicle faults accurately and efficiently
• Carry out servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs to a high standard
• Use current diagnostic equipment and technical information to identify faults
• Provide technical advice and support where required
• Work to manufacturer and dealership standards and procedures
• Complete work efficiently while maintaining a right-first-time approach
• Maintain clear and accurate records of work carried out
• Work closely with the wider workshop and aftersales team to keep vehicles moving
