Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Minimum of two years of related engineering experience.
• Two years with embedded controls or controls software development; Simulink, MATLAB; and controls software development in C.
• One year of experience with plant modeling/analysis tools and system Modeling and Simulation including Software, Hardware, Model in-the-loop.

Responsibilities

• Create control strategies, diagnostics, and communication methods for GM portfolio.
• Develop algorithms for vehicle features and multi-domain control systems.
• Collaborate with Systems Engineers to define vehicle, sub-system, and behavioral requirements.
• Define software unit tests, HIL, and vehicle tests from requirements.
