Cleveland State Community College seeks an Advanced Technologies Instructor for its Cleveland, TN campus. The role involves on-site teaching across the five-county service area, with some online delivery. You’ll plan, teach, assess students, and participate in program and division activities.

The candidate should hold a relevant bachelor’s degree, meet rank requirements, and possess strong instructional skills and safety awareness. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a closely related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in another discipline with competencies via certifications, work experience, or teaching excellence.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Plan and teach classes assigned, on-site and online as applicable.
• Fulfill instructional requirements per college and board policies.
• Remain current in the field and teaching methodologies.
• Maintain office hours and engage with students for advising and support.
• Participate in meetings and contribute to division and program evaluation.
• Report grades and maintain required records.
