The candidate will teach, assess, advise, and participate in committee work while upholding college and Tennessee Board of Regents policies. The position is Exempt/Full-Time, with a nine‑tenths month tenure-track arrangement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a closely related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in another discipline with demonstrated competencies through certification, related industry experience, teaching excellence, or ability to teach in specified areas.

Responsibilities

• Plan and teach classes in assigned courses, on-site across the college’s service area and online where applicable.
• Fulfill instructional requirements per college and Tennessee Board of Regents.
• Remain current in field and effective teaching methods.
• Maintain office hours and be accessible to students for advising and support.
• Participate in meetings and handle administrative duties including grades and records.
