Job summary

Defense-Aerospace is seeking an Advanced Technical Service Associate to provide advanced technical support for complex electro/mechanical systems, software, and networks during a 18-month contract in Scottsdale, AZ. The role requires a Secret clearance and strong hands-on troubleshooting experience.

You will work with field engineers and customers, document root causes, and assist with installations or training as needed, ensuring compliance with DoD security and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent plus at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Must have Secret clearance at time of hire.
• Proficient in network/IT systems and Windows environments.
• Experience with CA Spectrum OneClick, Oracle CRM and SQL Server preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical support to field engineers and customers diagnosing complex equipment.
• Responds when first-line support cannot isolate issues.
• Reports design, reliability and maintenance problems to engineering.
• Assists in customer installation and training when needed.
• Supports highly technical products for customers/users.
• Interacts directly with customers on technical systems.
• Provides technical service management and support for customer programs.
• Ensures repairs comply with policy and quality requirements.

• Provides technical support to field engineers, technicians, engineering, and product support personnel who are diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing and debugging complex electro/mechanical equipment, computer systems, complex software, or networked and/or wireless systems
• Responds to situations where first-line product support has failed to isolate or fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software
• Reports design, reliability and maintenance problems or bugs to design engineering/software engineering
• May be involved in customer installation and training
• Provides support to customer/users where the product is highly technical or sophisticated in nature
• The position job generally interacts directly with the customer/user where the product is highly technical or sophisticated in nature, such as with systems level
• software where the user has a technical background

Required and Desired Skills:
