Vail Resorts is hiring Snowmakers for winter seasonal 2026/2027. Starting wage ranges from $23.00 to $30.61 per hour, with full-time hours available during the winter season. The roles require heavy lifting, outdoor alpine work, and the ability to work nights, holidays, and weekends.

Responsibilities include operating snowmaking equipment, supervising day-to-day operations, mentoring teammates, and ensuring quality checks. Benefits include free passes, discounts, and training opportunities.

Job Specifications

Starting Wage: $23.00/hr - $30.61/hr

Job Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Previous experience operating /maintaining heavy machinery; snowmaking experience preferred
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English
• Ability to work outdoors in alpine environments
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, holidays, and weekends
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs

The expected pay range is$23.00/hr - $30.61/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
