Job summary

Stratton is seeking an experienced Advanced Groomer to operate snow grooming equipment and assist the Foreman in training junior operators. This is a full-time seasonal role with pay ranging from $25.00 to $29.00 per hour, based on experience.

You will work on Stratton’s trails, respond to varying weather conditions, maintain safety, and support night shift operations through weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of grooming experience.
• Park building experience preferred.
• Winch cat experience considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy grooming equipment and snow grading gear.
• Train and mentor Groomer levels I and II operators.
• Maintain grooming logs and perform nightly equipment checks.
• Respond to weather changes and adjust grooming plans accordingly.
• Communicate progress and issues with the supervisor and crew.
• Work third shift and on weekends/holidays as required.
