Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid and lift evacuation support on the mountain.
• Organize and conduct lift evacuation drills.
• Assist injured/ill guests and transport them off mountain.
• Support trail maintenance when Skyride is not operating.
• Transport supplies and heavy equipment as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Specifications

Job Responsibilities

• Provide first aid and lift evacuation support during summer Skyride operations
• Organize and conduct lift evacuation practices
• Assist injured/ill guests on the mountain, transport ill/injured guests off the mountain
• Assist trail maintenance staff when Skyride is not operating
• Transporting supplies and heavy equipment to areas of need
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• 3-5 years of previous patrol experience preferred
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English
• Must have excellent guest service skills
• Must work well in a team environment
• Must be able to work in inclement weather in a mountain environment
• Must have valid US driver's license
• Must be able to drive truck and UTV on approved routes
• Must have a current OEC medical certification
• Must be cleared for Aerial lift evacuation per Vail Resorts guidelines

The expected pay range is$23.00/hr - $30.61/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
