Job summary

RaceTrac is seeking an Advanced Service Technician to maintain and repair up to 15 RaceTrac and Raceway convenience stores in a designated region. The home store is Haltom City, TX, with responsibilities spanning HVACR, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and fuel systems to ensure continuous operability.

The role requires 4+ years of experience in maintenance, technical training in HVACR or electrical, and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Food & Beverage equipment repair knowledge preferred.
• Fuel dispenser and pump repair knowledge preferred.
• Technical School training in HVACR or electrical preferred.
• 4+ years work experience preferred.
• Experience in a retail maintenance environment a plus.

Responsibilities

• Resolves maintenance and service issues at RaceTrac and Raceway locations to ensure full operability 24/7.
• Ensures each job is performed with high skill and customer service.
• Serves as a knowledge expert in maintenance functions including HVACR, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and fuel systems.
• Maintains tools and inventory on the service vehicle.
• Provides project support to cross-functional departments in store initiatives.
• Responds to ad hoc maintenance requests from store personnel as needed.
• Keeps knowledge of local and state facility guidelines.
• Works with ASTs to cross-train in multiple trades.

The Advanced Service Technician is responsible for the maintenance and repair of up to 15 RaceTrac and Raceway convenience stores in a designated region. This individual assesses, develops protocol, and resolves maintenance issues to ensure the operability of every store at all times.

What You'll Do

• Resolves maintenance and serviczs issues at RaceTrac and Raceway convenience store locations to ensure full operability 24/7, ultimately increase the profitability of the company.
• Ensures each job is performed at a high level of skill and with optimal customer service.
• Serves as a knowledge expert in general maintenance functions including, but not limited to: HVACR, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, foodservice/beverage equipment, and petroleum dispensing systems.
• Accurately maintain tools and inventory on aservice vehicle
• Provides project support to cross-functional departments in various initiatives related to stores.
• Responds to additional ad hoc maintenance requests communicated from store personnel as needed.
• Maintains knowledge of local and state guidelines for facility services as necessary.
• Works with other AST’s to cross train in multiple trades

What We're Looking For:

• Food and Beverage equipment repair knowledge preferred

• 4+ years work experience preferred
• Experience in a retail maintenance environment a plus
• General knowledge maintenance and repair procedures a plus
