Job summary

RaceTrac, Inc. is seeking a Dedicated Advanced Service Technician at our Ellenwood, GA Travel Center to ensure continuous operability and top-notch maintenance.

The role covers HVACR, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, foodservice/beverage amenities and fueling systems to keep the store running 24/7. You will lead preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and perform repairs while upholding safety, cleanliness, and strong customer service across all store areas.

Qualifications

• General maintenance knowledge and repair procedures required.
• Ability to use common tools and office equipment required.
• Food and Beverage equipment repair knowledge preferred
• Fuel dispenser and pump repair knowledge preferred
• Technical School training in HVACR or electrical preferred
• Experience in a retail maintenance environment preferred
• Basic Microsoft Office knowledge
• 4+ years work experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Resolves maintenance and services issues to ensure full operability 24/7.
• Pressure washes sections of the store daily and maintains cleanliness.
• Maintains all trash on site during the shift.
• Ensures high-level skill and customer service in maintenance tasks.
• Acts as a knowledge expert in HVACR, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and dispensing systems.
• Maintains equipment, tools, and inventory on site.
• Provides project support to cross-functional departments.
• Responds to ad hoc maintenance requests from store personnel.
• Keeps knowledge of local/state facility guidelines.
• Works with other ASTs to cross-train in multiple trades.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/reach during shifts.

Job description

The Dedicated Advanced Service Technician is responsible for the continued maintenance and repair of the RaceTrac Travel Center and/or EDO stores they are designated. This individual assesses, develops protocol, and is responsible for the maintenance and appearance to ensure the operability of their store at all times.

This job is located at 4443 Dunn Court Ellenwood, Georgia 30294

What You'll Do:

• Resolves maintenance and services issues at the RaceTrac Travel Center to ensure full operability 24/7, ultimately increases the profitability of the company.
• Treatment of stained areas with chemical degreaser and completely pressure washes sections of the store each day.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, restrooms, and all other work areas.
• Maintain all trash on site during their shift.
• Ensures each job is performed at a high level of skill and with optimal customer service.
• Serves as a knowledge expert in general maintenance functions including, but not limited to: HVACR, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, foodservice/beverage amenities, and petroleum dispensing systems.
• Accurately maintain equipment, tools, and inventory on site.
• Provides project support to cross-functional departments in various initiatives related to stores.
• Responds to additional ad hoc maintenance requests communicated from store personnel as needed.
• Maintains knowledge of local and state guidelines for facility services as necessary.
• Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
• Works with other ASTs to cross train in multiple trades.
• Has the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to repeatedly bend, stand and reach while on the job.
