Job summary

RaceTrac is seeking an Advanced Service Technician to maintain and repair up to 15 RaceTrac and Raceway locations, ensuring 24/7 operability and contributing to store profitability. The home store is based at 8630 Lake Worth Rd, Lake Worth, FL 33467.

The role targets HVACR/electrical repairs, fuel dispensing system upkeep, and cross-functional collaboration across maintenance teams to uphold high service standards. Training in HVACR or electrical is preferred.

Qualifications

• HVACR or electrical troubleshooting and repair knowledge required.
• Experience with fuel dispensers and pumps is preferred.
• EPA refrigerant certifications (Type 1 & 2) required or preferred.
• 4+ years of related maintenance experience.
• Technical school training in HVACR or electrical.
• Basic MS Office knowledge.

Job description

The Advanced Service Technician is responsible for the maintenance and repair of up to 15 RaceTrac and Raceway convenience stores in a designated region. This individual assesses, develops protocol, and resolves maintenance issues to ensure the operability of every store at all times.

The home store for this position is based at “8630 Lake Worth Rd Lake Worth, Florida 33467 ”

What You'll Do

• Resolves maintenance and services issues at RaceTrac and Raceway convenience store locations to ensure full operability 24/7, ultimately increase the profitability of the company.
• Ensures each job is performed at a high level of skill and with optimal customer service.
• Serves as a knowledge expert in general maintenance functions including, but not limited to: HVACR, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, foodservice/beverage equipment, and petroleum dispensing systems.
• Accurately maintain tools and inventory on a service vehicle
• Provides project support to cross-functional departments in various initiatives related to stores.
• Responds to additional ad hoc maintenance requests communicated from store personnel as needed.
• Maintains knowledge of local and state guidelines for facility services as necessary.
• Works with other AST’s to cross train in multiple trades

What We're Looking For

• Food and Beverage equipment repair knowledge preferred
• Fuel dispenser and pump repair knowledge preferred
• Technical School training in HVACR or electrical preferred
• 4+ years work experience preferred
• Type 1 & Type 2 EPA Certification for refrigerants
• Experience in a retail maintenance environment a plus
• General knowledge maintenance and repair procedures a plus
• Maintenance or repair certifications a plus
• Basic Microsoft office knowledge
