Job summary

Mercy Hospital Southeast is accepting applications for a Respiratory Care Practitioner role. The position involves direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care per physician orders and collaboration with physicians to evaluate therapeutic effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current RCP license and NBRC-registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• ACLS preferred; PALS required for ER staff.
• May require state licensure and ongoing credentialing.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care, according to physician's orders.
• Consults physicians on effectiveness of therapy.
• Acts as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing on respiratory care.
• Performs duties as assigned.
