St Joseph Hospital in Nashua, NH is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to perform arterial blood gas analysis, patient assessments and critical care procedures including ventilator management and emergency responses. Ability to document thoroughly in EMR and to participate in Therapist Driven Protocols is essential.

The role requires teamwork, ongoing education, and accurate patient/family education. Compassion and collaboration with physicians and nurses are expected, with responsibilities

Qualificações

• Current NH license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner
• Basic Life Support required
• National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) credential
• Experience with above therapeutic modalities and ability to work in a team environment

Responsabilidades

• Document all respiratory therapy treatments in EMR with charge data.
• Enter orders derived from Therapist Driven Protocol into EMR.
• Provide patient education and monitor for adverse reactions/effects.
• Respond to Code Blue, trauma activations and resuscitation events.
• Organize shift workload and ensure complete documentation by end of shift.
