Job summary

The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to support research studies on two 3T MRI systems (Siemens and GE). The role combines participant care with protocol implementation, image-quality assessment, and secure data handling in an on-site setting in Aurora, Colorado.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in radiologic technology or related field.
• 2 years MRI experience with human populations and brain imaging.
• ARRT MR registration.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced research MRI examinations using study protocols on Siemens and GE 3T systems.
• Screen, educate, position, and monitor research participants with MRI safety in mind.
• Evaluate image quality and troubleshoot acquisition, equipment, and workflow issues.
• Perform scanner quality control and document checks; follow-up as needed.
• Collaborate with investigators on protocol implementation and documentation.
• Process, transfer, verify, and back up imaging data per approved workflows.
• Train staff and maintain regulatory documentation.
