• Recently expanded with a new tower adding 3 floors and 80 beds, including new ancillary spaces such as Inpatient Rehab, Inpatient Dialysis, Laboratory, and Imaging services

The role you’ll contribute:

The Advanced Registered Respiratory Therapist is responsible for providing and supervising respiratory clinical care for specific age groups. They accept shift supervisory responsibilities in the absence of a Clinical Specialist or Supervisor. Respiratory care duties include assessing, planning, implementing, delivering, and evaluating treatments, care, and patient needs to achieve optimal outcomes. Adheres to the AdventHealth Corporate Compliance Plan and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations and accreditation standards. Actively participates in delivering outstanding customer service and maintains respectful relationships with patients and team members.

• Assesses patient conditions, makes appropriate decisions and interventions, and collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to develop care plans. Evaluates diagnostic data, including lab results and monitoring data, and communicates effectively with team members.
• Satisfactorily completes department orientation, airway management certification, critical care training, Infant/Pediatric Emergency training (campus-specific), and advanced critical care training. Proficient in all applicable procedures.
• Practices standard precautions, enforces safety regulations, and documents procedures accurately to ensure quality standards are met.
