The role you’ll contribute:

The Advanced Registered Respiratory Therapist is responsible for providing and supervising respiratory clinical care to specific age groups, accepting shift supervisory responsibilities in the absence of a Clinical Specialist or Supervisor. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, delivering, and evaluating treatments to meet patient needs, adhering to compliance plans and regulations, and maintaining respectful relationships with patients and staff.

Responsibilities include:

• Participating as part of the multidisciplinary care team, working at the top of license and scope of practice.
• Managing cardio-pulmonary life support equipment.
• Reducing patient mortality and ICU stay through clinical judgment.
• Modifying care plans based on patient evaluation, including ventilatory support, oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and lung therapies.
• Managing inhaled gases such as heliox, oxygen, and nitric oxide.
