Job summary

S:US is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join a dynamic team focused on advancing psychiatric health care delivery. You will collaborate with the ACT Team and Medical Director to implement interventions, assess outcomes, and ensure evidence-based, person-centered care.

Responsibilities include coordinating treatment with the ACT team, writing prescriptions within regulations, managing medications, documenting plans, and providing crisis intervention when needed.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in NY with psychiatry advanced practice credentials and Medicaid provider status.
• DEA and NPI numbers required.
• CPR/First Aid certification must be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate ongoing psychiatric treatment with ACT team and Program Director.
• Write prescriptions for psychotropic medications as allowed; review assessments.
• Provide medication management including refills and education.
• Document medical histories, diagnoses, treatment plans, and outcomes.
• Attend meetings and provide crisis intervention and staff training.
