Job summary

Applied Control seeks a Solutions Consultant - Advanced Process Control to help customers improve performance using Emerson and AspenTech APC technologies, focusing on AspenTech DMC3. This client-facing role combines process knowledge, technical credibility, and consultative selling to identify APC opportunities and support project execution.

The role serves customers across upstream and downstream oil & gas, mining, pharmaceuticals, power, chemicals, food & beverage, and pulp and paper,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.
• Experience with advanced process control or model predictive control in process manufacturing.
• Familiarity with AspenTech DMC3 or related APC/optimization solutions preferred.
• Strong ability to engage technical, operational, commercial, and executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead APC opportunities through discovery, strategy, and proposal stages.
• Position APC solutions to address customer needs and deliver improvements.
• Translate requirements into solution strategies and work scopes.
• Deliver technical presentations, workshops, and demonstrations.
