Job summary

StartCare, Inc. is hiring an Advanced Practice Practitioner (NP/PA) in New York, NY. The APP will deliver evidence-based care within our CCP, under the Chief Medical Officer, in a team-based setting with nursing, counseling, and medical staff.

The role focuses on DSM-5 substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders, with personalized treatment plans aligned to best practices. The APP will ensure compliance with SAMSHA, DEA, and OTP/CCP regulations and participate in Quality/Process

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing or PA studies required.
• Active NY NP/PA license and DEA registration required.
• Minimum 3 years clinical experience; 2 years post-masters preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic assessments for DSM-5 substance use and mental health disorders.
• Conduct clinical assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Manage chronic medical conditions and coordinate care for Hepatitis C and HIV programs.
• Utilize approved medications in treatment plans and interpret lab tests.
• Provide urgent/emergency care and be part of on-call coverage.
