Encompass Community Services in Santa Cruz, CA is seeking an Advanced Practice Clinician (FNP or PA) to provide MAT for opioid and alcohol use disorders and coordinate care within integrated behavioral health teams. The role includes in‑person and telehealth services under supervision of the Medical Director and Director of Nursing.

Required are a CA license (FNP/PA), CA DEA, and at least two years as an APC, plus experience with SUD and MAT.

Qualifications

Unencumbered and unrestricted license to practice as an FNP or PA in California.
Unencumbered DEA licensure within California.
At least two years of experience as an APC.
Experience treating substance use disorders and prescribing MAT.
Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
Health examination including TB screening within required timeframe.
Criminal record clearance.

Responsibilities

Provide MAT services for AUD and OUD within scope of practice, including long‑acting injectables.
Oversee contingency management services for stimulant use disorders.
Collaborate with MAT operational team toward client recovery goals.
Coordinate care with SUD programs, local hospitals, probation/parole, etc.
