Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner school required.
• Valid licensure in state of practice and secure narcotic prescription privileges necessary.
• Board certified or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Treat a mixed patient population across gender, age, and ethnicity.
• Examine patients to determine general physical condition.
• Perform physical examinations and minor procedures within prescribed guidelines.
• Order or execute tests and diagnostic images to provide information on patient condition.
• Analyze reports and findings to diagnose conditions.
• Prescribe drugs or recommend other treatment methods.
• Record and sign off on physical findings in electronic charts.

Skills

Effective oral and written communication skills

Ability to secure credentialing through identified agencies

BLS (CPR/AED) certification

Education

Graduation from a Masters level, accredited Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner school
