Job summary

SSM Health in Harrah, Oklahoma is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join a busy urgent care clinic in a new facility built in February 2022. The PA will provide comprehensive urgent care within the full scope of licensure, treating patients of all ages with a dedicated support team and on-site lab services.

Requirements include 1 year of practice, Oklahoma PA license, NCCPA, DEA, BLS, and EPIC proficiency. Weekend shifts may be necessary; Urgent care or EM experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a practicing PA.
• Active, unrestricted Oklahoma PA license.
• Board-certified or board-eligible (NCCPA).
• Active DEA license or ability to obtain.
• BLS certification.
• Ability to treat patients of all ages.
• EPIC EHR proficiency.
• Willingness to work occasional weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive urgent care within the full scope of licensure.
• Evaluate and treat a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries.
• Perform urgent care procedures (suturing, splinting, wound care).

SSM Health is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join our busy Urgent Care clinic in Harrah, Oklahoma; A new facility built in February of 2022!

Position Highlights

• Schedule: 14 twelve-hour shifts per month
• Operation: Clinic operates 7 days a week
• Practice Layout: 5 exam rooms and 1 procedure room
• Staffing: Current practicing NP and dedicated support team
  • Including Medical Assistants and Office Assistant support
• On-site Services: Laboratory services available
• Patient Population: Treat patients of all ages
• Existing panel of patients

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive urgent care within the full scope of licensure
• Evaluate and treat a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries
