Job summary

SSM Health is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our urgent care clinic in Harrah, Oklahoma. A new facility built in February 2022.

The role involves providing comprehensive urgent care, treating a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries, and performing urgent care procedures. Willingness to work occasional weekends and operate in a busy clinic setting is required.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Oklahoma NP or PA license.
• Board certification or eligibility (PA: NCCPA; NP: ANCC or AANP, FNP).
• Minimum 1 year of practicing provider experience.
• DEA license or ability to obtain.
• BLS certification.
• Ability to treat patients of all ages.
• Proficient in EPIC EHR.
• Willingness to work weekends occasionally.

• Provide comprehensive urgent care within the full scope of licensure.
• Evaluate and treat a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries.

SSM Health is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our busy Urgent Care clinic in Harrah, Oklahoma; A new facility built in February of 2022!

Position Highlights

• Schedule: 14 twelve-hour shifts per month
• Operation: Clinic operates 7 days a week
• Practice Layout: 5 exam rooms and 1 procedure room
• Staffing: Current practicing NP and dedicated support team
  • Including Medical Assistants and Office Assistant support
• On-site Services: Laboratory services available
• Patient Population: Treat patients of all ages
• Existing panel of patients

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive urgent care within the full scope of licensure
• Evaluate and treat a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries
• Perform urgent care procedures (suturing, splinting, wound care)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-year experience as a practicing provider
• Active, unrestricted Oklahoma NP or PA license
• Board-certified or board-eligible
  • PA: NCCPA
  • NP: ANCC or AANP (FNP required)
• Active DEA (or ability to obtain)
• BLS certification
• Ability to treat patients of all ages
• EHR proficiency - EPIC
• Willingness to work occasional weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• Urgent care, emergency medicine, or fast track experience
• Strong procedural skills (suturing, splinting, wound care)
• Experience with initial X-ray interpretation
