Job summary

SSM Health is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a busy Urgent Care clinic in Harrah, Oklahoma. A new facility built in February 2022 supports a modern workflow with EPIC EMR and on-site lab services.

The role requires at least 1 year of practice, Oklahoma NP/PA licensure, board eligibility, DEA, BLS, and a strong ability to treat patients of all ages. Weekend coverage is required and the clinic operates seven days a week.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-year experience as a practicing provider.
• Active, unrestricted Oklahoma NP or PA license.
• Board-certified or board-eligible (PA: NCCPA; NP: ANCC or AANP; FNP required).
• Active DEA (or ability to obtain).
• BLS certification.
• Ability to treat patients of all ages.
• EHR proficiency - EPIC.
• Willingness to work occasional weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive urgent care within the full scope of licensure.
• Evaluate and treat a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries.
• Perform urgent care procedures (suturing, splinting, wound care).

• Schedule: 14 twelve-hour shifts per month
• Operation: Clinic operates 7 days a week
• Practice Layout: 5 exam rooms and 1 procedure room
• Staffing: Current practicing NP and dedicated support team
  • Including Medical Assistants and Office Assistant support
• On-site Services: Laboratory services available
• Patient Population: Treat patients of all ages
• Existing panel of patients

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive urgent care within the full scope of licensure
• Evaluate and treat a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries
• Perform urgent care procedures (suturing, splinting, wound care)
