Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health's Winchester Hospital is seeking an independently licensed NP or PA to join the Surgical Services team on the night shift, three 12-hour shifts per week. You will provide post-op care on the floor and ICU, evaluate and admit patients from the ED, assess surgical consults, perform bedside procedures, and serve as first-assist in the OR as needed (including robotic surgery).

Requirements include MS in Physician Assistant Studies or MA NP license, DEA, BLS and ACLS, and

Qualifications

• MS in Physician Assistant Studies or MA NP license required.
• DEA licensure, BLS, and ACLS required.
• Clinical experience in Surgical Services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-op care on the floor and ICU.

Key Details

• Schedule: Nighttime only (Three 12-hour shifts/week)
• EHR: EPIC preferred

Core Responsibilities

• Provide post-op care on the floor and ICU
• Evaluate and admit patients from the ED
• Evaluate surgical consult patients
• Perform bedside procedures
• First assist in the OR (including robotic surgery) as needed

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education/License: MS in Physician Assistant Studies OR Active MA Nurse Practitioner License
• Certifications: State & Federal DEA licensure, BLS, and ACLS
• Experience: Clinical experience in Surgical Services

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of specialty clinical experience
• 1+ year of experience with surgical patients

Pay Range:

$117,000.00 - $191,000.00

The pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
