Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Neurology Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to join a growing neurology program.

The role blends inpatient and outpatient care, working with neurologists to manage a broad range of acute and chronic neurological conditions, with opportunities for professional growth and access to advanced diagnostic tools.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Illinois.
• Current Illinois APRN/RN license or Illinois Physician Assistant license.
• National certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA).
• Neurology experience preferred; related experience encouraged.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient evaluations, neurological assessments, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
• Manage acute and chronic neurological conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Provide inpatient consultations, follow-up care, and discharge support.
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including imaging, laboratory testing, and EEGs.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventive care.
• Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $120,000.00 to $140,000.00 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
