ADVANCED PRACTICE PROVIDER (APP) - Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant - Neuro Outpatient
The Advanced Practice Provider - APP (Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant) assumes responsibility for providing advanced medical care practice within a clinical specialty and the scope of education. In consultation with other members of the health care team, strengthens advanced medical care practice and promotes positive patient outcomes. Responsibilities include clinical practice, staff and patient education, and research. The Advanced Practice Provider serves as a significant member of the multidisciplinary health care team in the inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.
Preference for candidates with neurology experience including seizure/epilepsy, movement disorder or headache management, or neuropathy.
Master's Degree as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
New Jersey RN, APN or PA license; APN or PA board certified.
American Heart Association BLS certification.
Schedule - Hours/Days: Full time 40 hours weekly.
