ADVANCED PRACTICED PROVIDER (APP) - Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant - Neuro Outpatient

The Advanced Practice Provider - APP (Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant) assumes responsibility for providing advanced medical care practice within a clinical specialty and the scope of education.In consultation with other members of the health care team, strengthens advanced medicalcare practiceand promotes positive patient outcomes.Responsibilities include clinical practice, staff and patient education, and research.The Advanced Practice Provide serves as a significant member of the multidisciplinary health care team in the inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.

Experience Required

Preference for candidates with neurology experience including seizure/epilepsy, movement disorder or headache managementor neuropathy.

Education Requirements

Master's Degree as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

License/Certification Requirements

New Jersey RN, APN or PA license;APN or PA board certified

American Heart Association BLS certification

Special Requirements

Schedule - Hours/Days:Full time 40 hours weekly.
