Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System in The Woodlands, TX, seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive patient care across the lifespan. You will assess, diagnose, and manage treatment plans within an interdisciplinary team, with a focus on safety, compassion, and efficiency.

The role requires Texas NP or PA credentials, state licensure, and eligibility for prescriptive authority; prior clinical experience in the intended population is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Nurse Practitioner program approved by the State of Texas; Masters degree required.
• Licensed to practice professional nursing by the State of Texas with APRN and prescriptive authority eligibility.
• May encompass CRNA, CNM, CNS, or CNP specialties and DEA licensure eligibility.
• Two years of clinical experience preferred in the intended practice area.

Responsibilities

• Provides health promotion, and assessment, diagnosis, and management of patient problems within the care team.
• Formulates and manages patient treatment plans and outcomes; prescribes pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions.
• Performs procedures within scope, collaborates on guidelines, and participates in research and teaching projects.
• Educates patients and families, and ensures safe care following institutional policies.
