CHOP is hiring a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work on our Inpatient General Pediatrics team at Main Hospital.
The ideal candidate will have:
In collaboration with an attending physician, the Advanced Practice Provider is responsible for the direct care and follow-up of a patient population that matches their delineation of privileges and skill set. This care is delivered in inpatient and hospital-outpatient settings. The role includes clinical practice, consultation, professional development, education, and research. Acute/critical care education and certification may be required based on the scope of practice. The clinical responsibilities include managing high-acuity patients, utilizing invasive interventions, and performing procedures to promote stability. Off-shift responsibilities may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, scheduled based on clinical needs.
