About this role

As an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA), Primary Care (House Calls) you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role you will provide primary care using your personal vehicles to patient homes throughout Las Vegas. Use of critical thinking skills and strong communication skills are needed. The role of healthcare providers in outpatient settings, particularly in Las Vegas at Intermountain Health, involves a comprehensive approach to patient care. The focus on senior patients highlights the importance of personalized treatment plans tailored to individual needs. Each day, providers conduct six in-home visits alongside one virtual consultation, ensuring accessibility and continuity of care for Medicare patients. This model not only addresses the immediate health concerns of patients but also fosters a supportive environment conducive to long-term wellness. The outpatient setting allows for a manageable caseload that prioritizes quality over quantity, facilitating thorough assessments and interventions. Such an approach is essential for optimizing patient outcomes within the constraints of modern healthcare systems.

Pay and Incentives

This position offers either a $5,000 sign-on bonus, or $7,500 in relocation assistance, and a travel stipend of $12,000.

Work Schedule: 4 days a week / 7AM-6PM (Day off is mid‑week)

Average Daily Patient Census: 6/day senior population and some younger patients who are medically disabled and on Medicare supplemental programs. No Call

Hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. $57.33 - $88.47
