Job summary

Mount Carmel invites applications for an Advanced Practice Provider in Cardiology at the walk-in clinic on the St. Ann's campus.

This full-time role serves as primary or acute care provider for cardiology patients in a fast-paced setting, coordinating care with the specialty team and ensuring timely, high-quality service. Qualified candidates hold a Master's degree, an APN program credential, current Ohio RN licensure, and APN certification in the specialty.

Qualifications

• Masters required in Science, Nursing or Specialty field.
• Graduate of an Advanced Practitioner program.
• Current Ohio RN license required.
• APN credential in designated specialty required; ANCC preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS/NRP/EFM/PALs for some departments.
• Experienced APP - NP or PA.

• Provide primary or acute healthcare services for cardiology patients.
• Work in a walk-in Cardiology Clinic on the St. Ann's campus.

Position Purpose

The Advanced Practice Specialty for Cardiology, provides primary or acute healthcare services for specialty health conditions in specific populations in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization.

This position is for our walk-in Cardiology Clinic on the St. Ann's campus.

• Day shift, Monday through Friday

What We Are Looking For

• Education: Masters required in Science, Nursing or Specialty field. Graduate of an Advanced Practitioner program.
• Licensure / Certification: Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Ohio
• Certified as an Advanced Practice Nurse in designated specialty required. American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) is preferred
• BLS provider certification required
• ACLS, NRP, EFM and PALs required for some departments (see Exhibit A)
• We are looking for an experienced APP - Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
