Job summary

Mount Carmel is seeking a Nurse Practitioner, Primary Care in Gahanna for a full‑time Advanced Practice Provider role. The APP delivers comprehensive health services across the lifespan with emphasis on health promotion, disease prevention, and improving community access to care, in a Mount Carmel Gahanna primary care office.

Experience in outpatient primary care preferred; Mount Carmel offers competitive compensation, benefits, CME stipend, and extensive professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in science, nursing or NP specialty.
• Current Ohio RN and NP licenses; Certified as Advanced Practice Nurse.
• BLS certification; DEA license.

Responsibilities

• Manages the care and treatment of patients as indicated in the professional scope of practice and within current standards and protocols.
• Develops a comprehensive plan of care with the patient/family consistent with established guidelines.
• Practices within the guidelines of a Standard Care Arrangement with a collaborating physician.
• Initiates and leads performance improvement activities with a focus on achieving top quartile on clinical indicators.

Position Purpose

Nurse Practitioner, Primary Care - Gahanna This full‑time Advanced Practice Provider (APP) position supports the delivery of high‑quality, patient‑centered care in a Mount Carmel Gahanna primary care office setting. The APP provides comprehensive health services across the lifespan, with a strong emphasis on health promotion, disease prevention, and improving community access to care. APPs at Mount Carmel are highly valued members of the care team and are offered excellent compensation, benefits, and an annual CME stipend. Experience in the outpatient primary care setting is preferred.

Minimum Requirements

• Education: Masters required in Science, Nursing or specialty field. Graduate of Advanced Practitioner Program.


• Current License as RN and Nurse Practitioner in Ohio. Certified as Advance Practice Nurse in designated specialty.

• Strong clinical assessment and analytical skills


• Self-directed professional with strong organizational skills
