Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider for Cardiology in our Walk-in Clinic on the St. Ann's campus. The role requires an RN license in Ohio, an Advanced Practice Nurse certification, and additional certifications listed.

You will join a team delivering primary and acute care in a fast-paced cardiology setting. Applicants should have a Master’s degree and be a graduate of an Advanced Practitioner program, with BLS required and ACLS/NRP/EFM/PALs for some departments.

Qualifications

• Education: Masters required in Science, Nursing or Specialty field. Graduate of an Advanced Practitioner program.
• Licensure / Certification: Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Ohio
• Certified as an Advanced Practice Nurse in designated specialty required. ANCC preferred
• BLS provider certification required
• ACLS, NRP, EFM and PALs required for some departments

• Provide primary or acute healthcare services for specialty cardiology patients in a walk-in clinic setting.
• Deliver equitable, high-quality patient care in accordance with organizational standards and scope of practice.

Advance Practice Provider for Cardiology, Walk-in Clinic

Position Purpose

The Advanced Practice Specialty for Cardiology, provides primary or acute healthcare services for specialty health conditions in specific populations in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization.

This position is for our walk-in Cardiology Clinic on the St. Ann's campus.

What we are looking for

• Education: Masters required in Science, Nursing or Specialty field. Graduate of an Advanced Practitioner program.
• Licensure / Certification: Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Ohio
• Certified as an Advanced Practice Nurse in designated specialty required. American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) is preferred
• BLS provider certification required
• ACLS, NRP, EFM and PALs required for some departments (see Exhibit A)
• We are looking for an experienced APP - Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
