Job summary

Sentara Health in Harrisonburg, VA is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Behavioral Health team in a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) for adolescents. The APP will conduct psychiatric evaluations, develop treatment plans, and monitor medications, with about 10 visits per day onsite.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team delivering group and individual therapies, and provide transitional follow-up for 3–6 months after discharge, to ensure continuity

Qualifications

• NP or PA eligible for Behavioral Health practice.
• Care for adolescents in a PHP setting.
• Mon-Fri schedule with no weekend/holidays; on-site in Harrisonburg.

Patients attend the program Monday through Friday from 9a-3p. The APP will provide care to participants actively enrolled in the program, as well as to recently discharged patients who are awaiting transition to community-based outpatient providers.**Position Highlights:*** Location: 25 W.
