Job summary

SSM Health is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join as a Float APP across the greater St. Louis Metro. The role provides essential coverage for provider PTO and leaves, offering variety, flexibility, and strong work-life balance.

The position focuses on 100% outpatient primary care in family medicine clinics with a Monday–Friday daytime schedule, no nights or weekends, and a competitive benefits package with bonuses and a float differential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nationally accredited PA or NP program.
• Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification required for NPs.
• Current PA/NP licensure in Missouri.
• Flexible team player with strong collaboration across clinics.
• Primary care experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient primary care coverage across multiple clinics in the greater St. Louis area.
• Cover provider PTO and leaves with continuity of care for patients.
• Support 100% outpatient family medicine services with an emphasis on quality and patient-centered care.
