Job summary

SSM Health Cancer Care in Fenton, Missouri is seeking an experienced Oncology Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) for a full-time, outpatient-focused role with infusion room oversight and potential hospital rounding. Anticipated schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm.

No Call/Weekends/Holidays. The ideal candidate has oncology experience or strong clinicals in oncology and must be able to obtain MO RN and NP licensure or PA licensure.

Qualifications

• Oncology experience desired as a PA or NP; strong clinicals in oncology.
• Graduate of a nationally accredited PA or NP program.
• Ability to obtain RN and NP licensure or PA licensure in Missouri.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient focused with infusion room oversight and potential hospital rounding.
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm.
• 36 hours of clinic/patient-facing time weekly with 4 hours of administrative time.
• 60 minutes for new patient visits and education; 20 minutes for follow-ups.

SSM Health Cancer Care in Fenton, Missouri (Cancer Care | Fenton, MO | SSM Health), is seeking a full-time, experienced Oncology Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA). A self-starter with strong communication and critical thinking skills is a must.

Job Details:

• Outpatient focused with infusion room oversight and potential occasional hospital rounding


• Anticipated schedule: Monday- Friday from 800am-430pm


• 36 hours of clinic/patient-facing time required weekly with four (4) hours of weekly admin time; flexible as long as you meet clinic/patient-facing time requirement


• 60 minutes for new patient and patient education visits, and 20 minutes for follow-up office visits


• No Call/Weekends/Holidays


• Join an experienced team of 3 Medical Oncologists, as well as exceptional support staff

Minimum Requirements:

• Oncology experience desired as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner; will review applicants with strong clinicals in oncology


• Graduate of a nationally accredited Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) Program


• Ability to obtain RN and NP licensure or PA licensure in the State of Missouri
