New York Cancer & Blood Specialists (NYCBS) is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our oncology/hematology team in Washington Heights, NY. The role emphasizes comprehensive patient assessment, care planning, and perioperative support in a fast-paced cancer care setting.

Spanish-speaking candidates are preferred. We welcome new graduates and value strong computer skills and EMR experience to coordinate high-quality, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Current APRN or PA license.
• Spanish-speaking preferred.
• Oncology/Hematology experience preferred but not required.
• Strong computer skills; EMR experience is a plus.
• New graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Manage health problems and coordinate care for Oncology/Hematology patients in alignment with state and federal regulations and nursing standards of care.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop and implement care plans, and evaluate patient status.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to prepare patients preoperatively and manage postoperative clinical care.
• Deliver patient-centered care focused on improving outcomes and enhancing the patient experience.

Job Description: APP - Nurse Practitioner | Physician Assistant (Spanish Speaking Preferred) Washington Heights, NY Monday–Thursday (7am-6:30pm)

We Require:

• At least one (1) year of Oncology/Hematology experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong computer skills; EMR experience is a plus.
