New York Cancer & Blood Specialists (NYCBS) in Washington Heights, NY is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Oncology/Hematology team. The role emphasizes patient-centered care and collaboration with our multidisciplinary team, with a schedule Monday–Thursday, 7am–6:30pm.

Spanish-speaking preferred; current APRN or PA license required; oncology experience is welcome but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Current APRN license or Physician Assistant license.
• Spanish-speaking preferred.
• Oncology/Hematology experience preferred but not required.
• Strong computer skills; EMR experience is a plus.
• New graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

APP - Nurse Practitioner | Physician Assistant (Spanish Speaking Preferred)

Washington Heights, NY

Monday–Thursday (7am-6:30pm)

In This Role, You Will

• Manage health problems and coordinate care for Oncology/Hematology patients in alignment with state and federal regulations and nursing standards of care.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop and implement care plans, and evaluate patient status.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to prepare patients preoperatively and manage postoperative clinical care.
• Deliver patient‑centered care focused on improving outcomes and enhancing the patient experience.

We Require

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license or Physician Assistant license.
• Spanish-speaking preferred.
• At least one (1) year of Oncology/Hematology experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong computer skills; EMR experience is a plus.
